NPA, The Worldwide Recruiting Network reports that 57% of placements during the most recent 12 months involved candidate relocation. Of the total placements, 50% involved an interstate/interprovince move, 7% resulted in intercity moves, and in 43% of placements, the new hire remained in the same city. NPA tracks relocation and other data for all placements reported by its 350 member firms. NPA board chair Genie Matthews, of Genie Matthews & Associates in Fayetteville, NC noted, “Employers are finding the need to recruit talent from outside of their companies and the best fit candidates are frequently not located in the employer’s existing geography. These types of placements are more challenging for both candidate and employer. NPA Announces 2006 Salary Data

February 21, 2007NPA, The Worldwide Recruiting Network reports that 2006 salaries of placed candidates increased by 3.6% over the previous year. NPA tracks salary and other data for all placements reported by its 350 member firms. Executive Vice President Dave Nerz noted, “Both the number of placements and the reported starting salaries increased from 2005. These indicators confirm we are in an economy that is more favorable to candidates seeking work and more difficult for those companies looking to hire or retain employees. In times like these, it is important for hiring managers to seek the help of a professional recruiter to find the best-fit candidates, as opposed to job hoppers chasing higher salaries.”

RSA Corp. Selected as Key Technology Partner for Camden Property Trust Project

RSA Corporation, a Houston-based full-service information technology consulting, management, and staffing company, announced it has been selected by Camden Property Trust as its technology partner for Camden’s JD Edwards EnterpriseOne implementation.

Camden is one of the nation’s largest multi-family real estate trusts (REITs). RSA’s PartnerITSM technology deployment and integration team along with a Camden business team will establish a “core” system; enabling Camden to replace existing accounting and other financial applications with an integrated business process and technology upgrade.

Camden selected J.D. Edwards’ EnterpriseOne suite of applications as the foundation of their financial systems. Decisions for participants critical to the successful implementation of software and technology included the selection of RSA Corporation as the project’s technical implementation team.
