The director of human resources has a long standing friendship with an NPA member recruiter in Michigan. He shared his concerns about the Australia trip with the Michigan NPA member. The Michigan NPA member contacted some trading partners in Australia and identified one who could help the Indiana client. Ironically, the Australian NPA member had previous work history with the Indiana client company and its product line. The Australian NPA member sourced and presented a short list of candidates for the position.
The Results:

Interviews were conducted, and the client company hired one of the candidates presented by the Australian NPA member. The director of human resources is pleased with both the hire and the market penetration into Australia. The Michigan NPA member feels this is an excellent example of NPA’s powerful international connections.
