We are pleased to announce that Lori Laird, from Davidson, Laird Inc., has been honored with the prestigious NPAworldwide Community Service Award. This award recognizes exceptional community service by an individual member of NPAworldwide.
In recognition of her significant contributions, NPAworldwide has made a generous donation of US$1,000 to the Brain Injury Alliance of Kentucky (biak.us), an organization dedicated to supporting individuals affected by brain injury through advocacy, education, prevention, and service.
James Lyons, immediate past chairman of the NPAworldwide Board of Directors, commended Lori for her 22 years of dedicated volunteer work with the Brain Injury Alliance of Kentucky. Her commitment and service truly embody the spirit of this award.
Lori has been actively involved in various initiatives at the Brain Injury Alliance of Kentucky, including spearheading the annual Brain Ball fundraiser. Her leadership as co-chair in recent years has been instrumental to the success of this event.
Expressing her gratitude, Lori stated: “It is a profound honor to receive the Community Service Award. I initially joined the Brain Injury Alliance of Kentucky 22 years ago out of a desire to help those in need. Over time, I’ve learned that volunteering is less about grand gestures and more about consistency, compassion, and listening to the people around you.”
The Community Service Award was established in 2019 to acknowledge members who make a positive difference in their communities through volunteering and charitable activities. Nominees are evaluated based on their contributions, impact on people and communities, lasting legacy, and dedication.
